A festival to inform, share and meet people
Since 1999, the Roman Museum of Nyon has been organising the Festival international du film d'archéologie de Nyon (FIFAN). In 13 editions, this free biennial event has become a must in Switzerland for fans of archaeological films. It puts Nyon alongside Bordeaux, Rovereto and Athens as one of the major international festivals of its kind.
FIFAN's mission is to promote archaeology through high-quality cinematographic works. As a bridge between archaeologists, film-makers and the general public, it encourages dialogue and encourages reflection on the links between archaeology and contemporary issues.
