A musical exhibition designed with Marc Ayom (singer-songwriter) and Cyrille Chatelain (painter)
Lake Geneva has inspired millions of pages, verses, paintings, drawings, pictures... and songs. Tunes that everyone knows and others that no one has hummed for ages, melodies composed by famous musicians and words matched by talented but anonymous artists, notes that smell of the old days and rhymes fallen from the last rain.
Because the lake isn't silent and because music belongs in museums, the Lake Geneva Museum is opening its doors to these songs.
September 10, 2023, from 3:00 PM onwards
Playful, ephemeral choir: Snap your fingers, clap your hands, sing your heart out to resonate with songs from Lake Geneva and make the lake's surface ripple.
Free participation, for one or multiple sessions. Suitable for all ages. Take the plunge!
Creation and direction: Yann Hunziker and Filipe Resende
