“L'Alpage de la Baronne” is a farm located in the countryside and near La Cure, in the direction of Le Noirmont. The Prélaz family, who are the owners of the estate, welcomes you during the summer season. The cheese is made at high altitudes where the cows graze in perfect tranquillity.
Production of cheese begins at 8am and direct sales are made on the farm (Gruyère, raclette, butter, sérac, cream, tommes fraiches). There is no catering service provided.
You can go hiking from the Alpine chalet in the direction of Le Noirmont (alt. 1,567m) and its magnificent viewpoint on Mont Blanc (“Balade du Noirmont” / 4h30 / 14 km).
