From March 25 to 28, 2026, the City of Gland will resonate with the spirit of ecology. The result of a collaboration between the municipal administration and a dedicated citizens' committee, this second free edition offers an immersive experience into the heart of climate issues.

Screening of the film ‘Du Grand Val au Petit Val’ (From the Great Valley to the Little Valley), a declaration of love for Swiss wildlife.

Thursday 26 March 2026, 7.30 p.m., community hall

Official opening of the festival: after the opening speech by the municipality, screening of ‘Trop chaud’ (Too Hot), a poignant film about the fight for climate justice by older women. The evening will be followed by a round table discussion with director Benjamin Weiss and Dominique Blazy Rime (Aînées pour le climat), then a drinks reception.

Friday 27 March 2026, 7.30 p.m., community hall

Screening of the short film ‘Un pêcheur du Léman’ (A Fisherman from Lake Geneva) followed by the film ‘Devenir paysan’ (Becoming a Farmer). An evening on the theme of food, starting with a tasting of a local menu at 6.30 p.m. and a human library of local producers. The screening will be followed by a drinks reception.

Saturday 28 March 2026, 2.30 p.m., Saint-Jean-Baptiste Chapel

Screening of the short film ‘The Creator’ followed by the film ‘Remarkable trees at the heart of biodiversity’.
Doors open at 2:30 p.m. with a presentation of photographs from the ‘Your Favourite Tree’ photo competition. Screening at 3:30 p.m., followed by the competition awards ceremony and drinks reception.
