Set off to rescue Prince Charming, help him cross the road during an amphibian rescue mission, then visit the 1st Saint-Cergue Photo Festival dedicated to water.
Contrary to what we often imagine, frogs and toads do not always spend their time with their feet in the water. In winter, most species seek out a quiet spot on dry land, sheltered by dead leaves, where they can rest. As the days get longer and temperatures rise, amphibians wake up and migrate to a water source to reproduce – a journey that is often dangerous due to roads. Every spring, the Jura Vaudois Regional Nature Park organises rescue operations with the help of volunteers. Find out what their mission involves.
And since water is central to the lives of these animals, the morning will continue with an exclusive visit to the 1st Saint-Cergue Photo Festival dedicated to the theme of water, with one of the association's photographers.
