Le Forestier, a legacy
Aliose's inspiration in the words of Le Forestier
It is a story of musical affinities that blossomed into friendship. In 2011, Alizé Oswald and Xavier Michel crossed paths with Maxime Le Forestier, with whom they shared a love of simple words and timeless melodies. This connection gave rise to a lasting bond. A few years later, the singer invited them to open for him at the Olympia. Today, the duo pays tribute to their benevolent elder in a sober and elegant show. Two voices, a guitar, a string trio and projections: that's all it takes to revisit a repertoire that spans generations and eras without gathering dust. A new song, penned by the three of them, even seals this meeting of souls.
‘Aliose combines the simplicity of true pop songs with a certain sophistication and inspired lyrics. The duo also seduces us vocally, with their softness, sensuality and virtuosity.’ Francebleu.fr
