Pop, Rock and Folk Concert at the Usine à Gaz in Nyon
Three artisans of sensitivity
If you love moments on the edge and sincerity that touches the soul, this 100% Humus Records evening is for you. Three worlds follow one another, connected by the same raw and sensitive artisanal spirit.
Prune Carmen Diaz kicks off the sensory journey with songs from Disobedience, her debut album. Self-taught and coming from a visual arts background, she crafts timeless pop, wrapped in vintage keyboards, reverberating organs and distorted drums. Special mention goes to the haunting ‘Arcadia’, whose melody is seared into the memory.
Next up is DIY magician Louis Jucker and his Suitcase Suite (solo), a ritual of sound craftsmanship carried by the grace of his movements. From this universe of suitcases full of tricks, improvised instruments and repurposed objects, carried by his feverish singing, he crafts a raw and crystal-clear folk sound live on stage.
Elie Zoé finally closes this beautiful odyssey with Shifting Forms, a new album of rebirth in which each track explores transition, change of state, and the need to redefine the singer's relationship with the world and with his voice. The album is a collection of nine pop-inspired tracks with minimal instrumentation and a rock aesthetic, a zone of contact between caress and cry.
