The Adventures of Jennie
Jennie is a well-fed, well-loved, well-groomed little dog, but she is bored stiff between her food bowl, her houseplant and her owner. So one morning, she plucks up her courage, grabs her suitcase, slams the door and sets off into the wide world. In Turlututu!, Céline Nidegger invents a luminous fable filled with songs, where we learn that sometimes we have to leave our comfort zone in order to grow. Puppets, dolls and colourful sets follow one another like so many little worlds to explore. On stage, laughter and surprises mingle and the audience becomes complicit. A beautiful journey of discovery, where every encounter promises new discoveries and friendships.
Inspired by Maurice Sendak's best-selling book, Turlututu! teaches adults and children alike the importance of thinking big. A playful and energetic fantasy waiting to be discovered.
