Jazz Concert at the Cave de la Rose d'Or
Thomas Winteler's new project pays tribute to the timeless Louis Armstrong and Sidney Bechet, who played together under Clarence Williams in the 1920s and 1940s. But the quintet will also give pride of place to the repertoire of Satchmo's famous Hot Five.
Guest of honour ‘from the cold’, the excellent Norwegian trumpeter Torstein Kubban will light up this exciting evening with his style influenced by Henry Red Allen, Bix Beiderbecke and Mugsy Spanier.
