With biting humour, the theatre company Le Magnifique Théâtre tackles the emergence of start-ups, between fantasies and excesses.
When their jobs are threatened by restructuring, Simon, Philippe, Martha and Amélie get together to draft a statement in order to save their positions. A veritable manifesto, it vigorously expresses their indignation at these savage cuts. Driven by a sincere desire to change the world, the quartet begins to dream of an alternative: creating their own ethical and committed company. Their idea? To produce eco-friendly baby food jars that would revolutionise the food industry. But does starting your own business allow you to be the master of your own destiny? Do friendship and business go hand in hand? And can utopia and market logic really be reconciled?
Immersed in a 360-degree stage setting, the audience finds itself up close and personal with the performers, at the heart of a vibrant debate between ideals and realities. A committed, lively, funny and powerful tragicomedy!
