Cultural area & Café
Chez Théophile is a community project that aims to revitalise a former industrial complex. Open to all, Chez Théophile is a café/bar and a venue for entertainment, exhibitions and creativity. The café area is run entirely by volunteers.
At the beginning of the 20th century, entrepreneur Théophile Mühlethaler decided to build his ‘chemical and perfume factory’ in Nyon. Buildings with sawtooth roofs, witnesses to this era, still stand on Route de l'Etraz. It is in one of these buildings that the project is being developed.
