Comedy show at the Grand-Champ Theatre
Teatro la Fuffa
Comic Drama
A show for all audiences aged 12 and up
Duration: 80 minutes
The Clapier family is forced to live in the heart of a fairground, inherited from a distant relative on the father’s side, packed into a caravan… Little by little, they sink into a black hole where time seems to have stopped forever, like in a dusty showcase.
The “sparkling prison” in which they are trapped amplifies to the extreme the hilarious and grotesque dynamics of this family:
Young Mathilde dreams of becoming a punk serial killer and tries to find herself in a world that doesn’t seem to suit her. Her father, Bernard, the amusement park’s accountant, secretly trains to become a tango dancer with a pink flamingo plush toy he calls Rosalia, behind the cotton candy stand.
The mother, Alice, tries to escape her thousand regrets through constant sarcasm, which will nevertheless make her sink ever deeper into the darkest parts of herself.
This out-of-the-ordinary comedy will throw you headlong onto an existential roller coaster — and you won’t be disappointed by the ride!
“It’s a drama, but very funny — like life itself.”
La Liberté – Elisabeth Haas
