Electro pop concert
UTO sounds like stepping into a slightly hazy dream, somewhere between the familiar and the ethereal. Ghostly loops, disjointed grooves. With More Heat to the Fire (Part of Fire), the Parisian duo continues its electro-pop journey in this extended version of their latest album. A new edition, or extension, featuring five previously unreleased tracks, including two masterful covers: an ethereal, vocoded version of Dido's “White Flag” and Lucinda Williams' minimalist ballad “Broken Butterflies”. But it's on stage that Neysa Barnett and Émile Larroche's music unleashes its full power and hypnotises its audience. Deconstructions, improvisations... we are swept away on a sensory journey that does us good. Once back on solid ground, we are left wanting more.
