Le Pétiole Sauvage welcomes you to a cooking workshop entitled “One plant, one meal: Dolmades with Rumex alpin”.
On Sunday, 17 August 2025, Le Pétiole Sauvage is offering a cooking workshop featuring edible wild plants. The theme of this meal will be based around a species of plant that grows in large colonies in the Swiss Alps: Rumex alpinus (Rumex alpin).
You will use the leaves of this species to make dolmades (rolls) that we will stuff with several delicious fillings. For dessert, you will use the petioles to bake a delicately flavoured tart.
