In 2004, the Japanese conductor Seiji Ozawa set up an academy in Switzerland focusing on the string quartet and ensemble. Since its foundation, the Seiji Ozawa International Academy Switzerland has welcomed twenty young soloists each year. Initially based at the Fondation Hindemith in Blonay, in 2007 it moved to the Château de Rolle, which was made available to it by the municipality of Rolle. From 7 to 12 July 2025, you can attend the Masterclasses of the Academy's Ensemble of Musicians, conducted by Kazuki Yamada, at the Château de Rolle.
