Jazz & co welcomes you to a concert by Freddie and the Cannonballs
Freddie & The Cannonballs are a Swiss blues band led by Federico Albertoni, a bassist and singer who has been a fixture on the Swiss blues scene for over twenty years.
Formed in 2018, they have since released an EP (‘F’, 2019), a double CD (‘Two Sides of the Same Coin’, 2022) and a single 45 (‘Hold On/Look Back’, 2024).
After winning the Swiss Blues Challenge in 2021, the band represented Switzerland at the European Blues Challenge final and reached the semi-finals of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
Freddie & The Cannonballs perform at major blues festivals and clubs in Switzerland and Europe. In 2024 and 2025, they were nominated for the prestigious Swiss Blues Award.
