The 4th Festival du Vin takes place from Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 November 2023, from 4pm to 11pm, at the Salle de la Colombière in Nyon. For this fourth edition, the public will have the opportunity to meet winegrowers from the canton of Vaud, as well as the Ozenit winery, the guest of honour from the canton of Valais.
For its fourth edition, the Festival du Vin is taking visitors to meet producers from the Vaud and Valais regions. The guest of honour for this fourth edition is the Ozenit winery in Valais. A number of Vaud winemakers also accepted the invitation: Château de Crans, Château Le Rosey, Domaine Delaharpe, Domaine de la Croix, Cave Swan by Didier Cornut, Domaine Vitis Musicalis, Gallay Vigneron-oenologue and Cave de la Rose d'Or. This year, tastings will take place from 4pm to 9.30pm. After this time, the wines of the winemakers can be found in the Festival bar until closing time.
To complement the wine tastings, a number of concerts are scheduled. Each day, between 4pm and 9.30pm, musicians will take the audience into a jazz-blues world. Then, at 9.30pm, Swiss bands take to the stage in the Salle de la Colombière: Big Bone (Thursday), Nuum (Friday) and Igor Iov (Saturday).
On the catering front, the festival's line-up gets bigger every year. The festival will be showcasing local Swiss specialities, with platters, homemade burgers and tasty tartars.
Over the three days, the Festival du Vin is organising an art exhibition featuring several works created especially for the occasion. From epicureanism to Swiss vineyards, wine and art lovers will be able to soak up the paintings and drawings on display on the balcony of the Salle de la Colombière.
