Facing Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, the Domaine du Château de Crans offers tastings in the cellars of the Château.
Located in the town of Crans, The Château de Crans is an organic wine estate.
Manager of the estate and master winemaker, Gilles Pilloud has been applying biodynamic methods gradually since 2007.
The Château de Crans is considered to be one of the most elegant historic buildings in La Côte Vaudoise. Its vines face Lake Geneva and Mont-Blanc. About ten grape varieties are cultivated on the vineyard which covers 12.7 hectares. At a height of 4.10 meters, the vaulted cellars of the Castle bear witness to nearly three centuries of history. The letters of the brotherhoods struck in stone illustrate the know-how of the craftsmen who built the building. The wine evolves under ideal conditions both in terms of temperature and hygrometry. Equipped with state-of-the-art wine-making equipment, the cellar also includes barrels of 225 to 500 liters
