Situated above sea level between the Marchairuz pass (9 km) and La Givrine pass (8 km) in the Jura Vaudois. Light refreshments are available.
The Chalet des Pralets is an Alpine refuge located at 1,271 m above sea level in the Jura Vaudois Nature Park in the municipality of Bassins. This refuge welcomes hikers in summer and the cross-country skiers in winter. Accessible from La Givrine or from Marchairuz, Les Pralets is a haven of peace and quiet where you can recharge your batteries.
In the summer, access is possible via the mountain road via the village of Bassins. During the summer season, the shepherds welcome you from June to September. Fondue, cheese “Croûte”, cold cuts, röstis, pies and meringue are available.
Accessible during the winter season by the marked trails for cross-country skiing from the beginning of December to Easter, the volunteer members of the ski club "La Gamelle" welcome you for weekends and during the Vaud school holidays. Soup, cheese and cold cuts will be offered.
