Two musicians attempt to recreate a song in one hour, despite all the tracks having gone missing. The audience plays a direct part in its creation, from writing the lyrics to choosing the instruments, right through to recording the track.
‘On connaît (pas encore) la chanson’ is an improvised musical experience conceived by Paul Berrocal and Renaud Delay. In a studio recreated on stage, the two artists start from scratch to compose a track with the help of the audience, who suggest moods, melodies, lyrics and instruments. As this collective creation unfolds, a song takes shape live, then is recorded to become a unique piece of work.
