Discovering wild garlic — Identification and wild cooking workshop
Wild garlic is one of the first wild plants to sprout in spring. Its unique taste is attracting more and more fans and is even becoming fashionable. It can be found in many products (chips, pesto, cheese) sold in supermarkets and markets. But how well do you know this plant? Are you sure you can recognise it without confusion? Perhaps you have heard of certain species that resemble it and are highly toxic? In this workshop, we invite you to discover wild garlic, observe it and study it properly in the field so that you can recognise it with certainty and harvest it safely. After harvesting, we will head to the kitchen where we will put our talents to work to prepare a cocktail dinner in which wild garlic will reign supreme.
