Dance performance at the Usine à Gaz
Body, screen, movement
Who has never dreamed of attending a show while feeling as if they were diving into it? In Vista by choreographer Yan Raballand is an intimate journey into the heart of movement that blurs the boundaries between performers and audience to offer a unique experience. On stage, three dancers move fluidly under the gaze of a camera that seems to take shape and dance along with them. Each movement captured becomes an image that is projected, zoomed in on and reversed, multiplying perceptions like a series of unsettling mirrors. On stage and on the big screen, In Vista unfolds a dizzying poetry of the moment and offers a superb opportunity to see dance in a different light.
‘A dazzling dive into the very heart of movement, where dance and video play with our temporal and spatial references.’
An introduction to the show is offered. It takes place in the foyer 30 minutes before the start of the performance on Thursday.
