Eco-friendly Christmas market in Tannay
The second edition of Noël Bazaaar, an eco-friendly Christmas market in the Terre-Sainte/La Côte region, is organised by the TannEco Association.
Noël Bazaaar is an alternative to the traditional Christmas market, an opportunity for young and old alike to prepare for Christmas by recycling items that are still in good condition. This gives them a second life and perhaps even makes them a gift to put under the tree.
Noël Bazaaar is a festive event that promotes social ties while addressing issues related to our quality of life and our place in nature. It is a chance to share a convivial moment while strolling among the stalls filled with treasures and participating in creative workshops.
The programme is rich and varied, including:
· Sale of second-hand items in very good condition, games/toys, etc. (no clothing).
· Creative workshops on gardening and recycling:
· Christmas decorations made from natural and recycled materials,
· natural cosmetics made from garden plants,
· making birdhouses for the garden,
· sustainable gift wrapping, furoshiki, an alternative to wrapping paper (every year, 20 million metres of wrapping paper are produced by the Swiss company Stewo for Christmas alone; source: RTS).
· Games and activities around local and sustainable food (Localendrier).
· Tapatou.ch stand (the platform for sharing objects and services) where it will be possible to drop off items to be sold for the benefit of TannEco.
· Refreshments, pastries and food trucks.
