Mathieu Boogaerts and his brand new band are celebrating the release of Grand Piano, the artist's ninth album, with us. With bass, drums, keyboards, backing vocals, guitars and surprises, they will perform a delightful selection of old and new songs in bright and colourful versions, with his syncopated style that invites the body to sway.
Mathieu Boogaerts plays many different instruments, he also plays with words, their meaning and their sound, he plays reggae and nursery rhymes, he plays with Dick Annegarn and also loves Alain Souchon, he writes in Africa or in Europe, he colours skies and draws princesses, he invents songs as round as candy, as clear as crystal, little gems that are all the more precious for their apparent simplicity. There you have it: Boogaerts is a simple and precious artist.
