Rolle, the Pearl of Lake Geneva, has been hosting DiVINes! the Swiss trade fair for women winemakers.
More and more women in Switzerland are choosing the world of wine, whether as cellarmen, owners, winegrowers or oenologists, because they love the profession or because they are related to it.
Passionate and committed, women winemakers work different terroirs and vinify a wide range of grape varieties to produce wines that reflect their personality, while respecting the environment.
Women are also renowned for their tasting skills; many of them are keen to discover the diversity of wines, particularly those made by women, and they are very clear about their choices.
DiVINes! Swiss Fair for Women Winegrowers, is part of a favourable environment for showcasing women producers and consumers of Swiss wines.
- 45 women winemakers from Switzerland's 6 wine-growing regions will be presenting their work and their wines.
- A special guest: Mayra Saillen\, a Swiss winegrower and oenologist based in Provence\, who produces wine and olive oil.
