The Association for the Animation of the Rive District is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
A special program for the 50th anniversary of the Association for the Animation of the Rive District:
To mark this jubilee, many surprises will enliven the lakeside throughout the weekend:
- "Empty Your Room" – a children’s flea market
- The 50th Anniversary Mini Train – free shuttle service
- Pedalo rides
- Numerous concerts and parades featuring musical groups in various styles (Jazz Parade and concerts, Nyon Singers, Nyon Municipal Brass Band)
- A special guest appearance by the Födlitätscher of Lucerne – a Guggenmusik band of 70 costumed musicians who will parade joyfully through the town on Saturday.
Rive Flea Market:
The flea market will take place on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., along the Quais Louis-Bonnard and des Alpes.
Stretching over a kilometer, this market will welcome collectors and second-hand dealers from all over Switzerland and abroad.
This year, in celebration of the anniversary, the flea market will also extend into the Rive canteen, offering additional space for exhibitors and visitors.
