Accessible all year round, the Bois-des -Ages discovery trail is an easy walk through a delightful little forest in the Nyon region with information boards along the route teaching adults and children all about the forest, flora and fauna.
The Bois-des-Ages trail takes walkers through the Prangins forest to the mouth of the Promenthouse on the shores of Lake Geneva. The shaded path slopes gently downwards and affords beautiful views of the surrounding wheat fields.
The 1.2 km walk is enhanced by a series of information boards describing the secrets of the forest, the river and the local wildlife and takes about 30 minutes.
The Bois-des-Ages trail was designed and developed in 1998 by the pupils of Prangins school and is one of the thirty or so NatuRando educational walks.
