Six acrobats, no apparatus, no safety net. The Puéril Péril Company uses the human body as its only equipment—and the audience as its partners. A contemporary circus show for all ages—funny and impressive. Living by their own motto: “To soar without peril is to fall without glory,” the members of the Puéril Péril troupe embark on physical feats that defy height and gravity. Having performed last season at the Usine à Gaz with the duo Bankal, the Lyon-based company emphasizes connection and camaraderie with this new production. It’s an artistic collaboration among the six performers—three men and three women—but also a human connection between circus artists and the audience, with a very distinctive style: a tender circus rooted in reality. Through hand-to-hand acrobatics, Icarian acts, and pole work, the artists showcase not only their strength and agility but also their vulnerability in acrobatic lifts. Intimate and luminous, *Kontact* is a joyful ode to solidarity.
