L'Usine à Gaz welcomes you to a concert by Swab & Broken Bridge
Swab's reunion took place at the Usine à Gaz during last season's 50th anniversary of rock in Nyon. Galvanised by the emotion of the evening, it was clear that they couldn't stop there. After the stage, the quartet returned to the studio to record a new EP, As long as there is sad music, there is hope. Swab's alternative rock is soaring, melancholy and dynamic.
See you at the record launch at the Usine à Gaz!
BROKEN BRIDGE
These are just some of the words that describe Nyon-based garage-rock trio BROKEN BRIDGE when they hit the stage in full force.
After a sweaty 2022, opening for Amyl & The Sniffers and performing at the Paléo Festival, the trio decided to unleash 12 tracks of high-frequency rock'n'roll on a new album tinged with 70s punk and glam. And so it was that their brand new album, LOVE & SWEETNESS, was born.
It marks the start of a new era for our three flayers Nikolai, Don Saltamontes and Redd Knee; an era, or rather a world, where catchy melodies rub shoulders with relentless, sweaty rock'n'roll. It's an album that also marks a high point in the band's acerbic lyricism, whose muted, strident violence resonates with its bloody cover.
A must-see live show. It's not them saying it, it's their audiences, their concerts attracting an ever-growing number of stunned fans.
