Le Resto et L’Hôtel by Hostellerie du Château are managed by a couple of hoteliers who are passionate about receiving guests and cooking terroir products. Their establishment holds the “Home-made” label as well as the “Vaud Œnotourisme” certification. They guarantee the good impression guests feel immediately upon entering: the products are fresh, local and in season. Some of their specialties: pike dumplings from the nearby lake, perch fillets, rib steak served on a slate and the famous “Comète”, which is beef tenderloin cooked live at the table in “comète” butter. In winter, the delicious pieces of meat are cooked in the fireplace, in summer, they are served on the beautiful terrace near Lake Geneva. Ninety percent of the wines to be enjoyed with these fine dishes come from the Vaudois vineyards.
Each of the atypical guest rooms is sponsored by a local vintner. They bear his/her name, feature photos and various everyday objects that decorate the room in an authentic and picturesque style. An original way to discover the work of these artisans of taste! Groups and businesses can privatise all or part of the restaurant for their events.
