Canada, summer 1898. In the midst of the Gold Rush, Emily Meyer joins a group of German immigrants on a perilous ride in search of the precious ore
Looking for gold deposits, each emigrant gave up everything in the hope of starting a new life. Full of confidence, the seven gold diggers left the town of Ashcroft, the last railway station on the Canadian line, without knowing what awaited them. Gradually, the group plunged into the savagery and infinity of Canada's great outdoors. The cards are becoming uncertain. Doubt and fatigue threaten the group. Conflicts within this heterogeneous group are gradually breaking out. Driven by dreams and hopes for a better life, Emily and her crew are moving towards a goal that seems to be moving further away with each step.
