Show of Thomas Wiesel at the Théâtre de Terre Sainte in Coppet
The title of Thomas Wiesel's new show raises a mysterious question: does he really work? And if so, how does a comedian work to make us laugh? Does work make you laugh? Not every day...
Thomas Wiesel, as usual, is going to talk straight to us about us, all of us, our relationship with work and his own way of looking at what obsesses us: earning a living. Earning it without losing it. Humour and work don't seem to go very well together, and yet we urgently need to laugh at the way we work. Because we are workaholics, as we are sometimes called. So let's talk about it amongst ourselves, within the brotherhood of workaholics.
Work is at the centre of our lives and Thomas Wiesel is going to suggest that we take a step back. As someone who doesn't have a job like the others, he can take a step back and make fun of this sacrosanct work, this omnipresent job, this all-powerful livelihood, its excesses, its Anglicisms, the colleagues, the bosses, and the emails... to the point of exhaustion! So before you become totally demotivated, or even worse, burned out, RIEZ RIEZ RIEZ-EN!
After a hard day's work, come and decompress by watching our comedian from Western Switzerland do his. And don't miss his show - he won't be on tour for long, because Thomas is already looking forward to his holidays.
