Located between Gland and Nyon below the castle of Coinsins, Maison du Moulin comprises 30 acres of vineyards grown without any chemical products. The founder Yannick Passas regularly receives visitors and prepares dishes cooked over a log fire.
Fleur de Pêche, Ephémère, Pépite de Nacre… These poetic names and the tasteful wine labels of Maison du Moulin still clash a little with the traditional world of Vaudois wines. But make no mistake: no theatrics are involved in the work of Yannick Passas and his team. Respect, authenticity and environmentally friendly form the core of their joint values. The 30 acres of vineyards are grown without any chemical products to allow the limestone, clayey and sandy soils of the estate to fully express themselves in the wines. Respect for products is another important factor, which encompasses the natural wines from the cellar, or the terroir products made on site or by nearby partners. Last but not least, Maison du Moulin offers authentic human contacts during the evenings featuring a combination of wines and gourmet products cooked over a log fire each Friday night. Saturdays are dedicated to brunches, whereas several other public or private events (such as vineyard outings in a horse-drawn carriage) are held throughout the year.
