More than 30 years after creating the Russian National Orchestra, Russia's first independent orchestra, pianist and conductor Mikhail Pletnev renews his commitment to artistic freedom by founding the Rachmaninov International Orchestra. This multifaceted artist will be at the piano for these two exceptional concerts which will bring together the 5 concertos of Rachmaninov in this year when we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of the composer. Kent Nagano will conduct this orchestra composed of Russians, Ukrainians and Europeans.
