Annual International Rescue Celebration 2025 in Nyon
To mark its 140th anniversary, the Nyon rescue section has been tasked by the SISL with organising the annual rescue festival. This festival will be an opportunity for the public to learn more about rescue activities on the lake and to meet the volunteers responsible for their safety on the lake. The festival will bring together the 34 lake rescue teams in rowing, manikin swimming and drowning victim rescue competitions. The public will be able to enjoy refreshments on site and attend two free live music concerts with the band WRock on Friday evening, 15 August, and Les Blattes on Saturday evening, 16 August. Local companies have the opportunity to form a team of eight people to take part in the rowing competition organised for them on Friday evening, 15 August 2025.
