Nicolle Rochelle & Swiss TriBe at Rosey Concert Hall
Nicolle Rochelle was born in New Jersey, close to New York City, the ‘Dream City of Showbiz’. She quickly found her niche in singing, acting and dancing, working professionally in Shakespeare theatre, Broadway musicals, soap operas and films since the age of 7. After a 4-year world tour, Nicolle settled in Europe and continues to sing French songs, jazz, boogie woogie, blues, soul and pop in several bands and Guest Star in several orchestras around the world. Swiss TriBe Founded in 2009 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Sidney Bechet, Swiss TriBe is a traditional jazz group that pays tribute to the great American clarinettist and sopranist (1897-1959). The combination of soprano and vibraphone, or double bass, gives this classic jazz repertoire some highly original colours.
