Directed by Christine Mayencourt, the Ensemble Vocal Amaryllis invites you on a journey through time and space. He will explore the secular music of the Renaissance from the French song to the Italian madrigal, passing through the Iberian villancicos and the German lieder. This music is very expressive, varied and complex. We take you to discover a musical array ranging from England to Poland, via Spain, France, Italy and Germany. Follow our guide, lutenist Dana Howe. Works by famous musicians like Thomas Morley, Josquin Desprez or Roland de Lassus and or a little forgotten like Mateo Flecha El Viejo, or Mikołaj z Krakowaw.
