Visit of an alpine dairy - Cheese production

Discover the traditional know-how of cheesemongers in the “Parc Jura Vaudois”.

In the Vaud Jura Parc, during summer, several local cheesemongers give you the possibility to discover how cheese and other dairy products are being produced hand-made.

Visits are possible from early June to late September, until the traditional « Désalpe » event, where you can see the flower-decorated cows descending back from the meadows down to the village.

Cheesemongers produce and sell the Gruyère AOP, fromage à raclette, Vacherin Mont-D’or, butter and curd cheese.
